E-MU PROCUSSION DRUM SOUND MODULE
Procussion is a multi-timbral percussion sound module that will transform your music production. Featuring actual digital recordings of “real” instruments, Procussion offers hundreds of different drum and percussion sounds that are instantly accessible.
With four megabytes of the highest quality 16 bit percussion samples from the Emulator III sound library stored on ROM, Procussion gives you the ability to deconstruct and reassemble these sounds into an almost limitless number of entirely new percussion sounds. You can combine parts of one instrument with another or with any of a selection of digital waveforms also stored on ROM, resulting in a high degree of musical expression not normally attainable from sampled percussion instruments.
Procussion has 128 kit locations arranged into 16-bit samples, 64 of which are user-programmable, offering you the ultimate customization for your music. Its 32 voice polyphony allows you to take full advantage of its layering capabilities (up to 8 sounds on each key or drum pad) and its ability to respond multi-timbrally to all 16 MIDI channels.
In addition, Procussion features 3 stereo outputs for individually processing sounds, with fully programmable panning. You can also configure them as 6 polyphonic submixes. The integral sends and returns allow you to add external effects units without the need for a separate mixer. And its extensive MIDI implementation makes it ideally suited for multitrack sequencing and composing using a MIDI sequencer.
