ROLAND VG-8 V-GUITAR SYSTEM
The Roland VG-8 is a revolutionary guitar processor that utilizes cutting-edge modeling technology to replicate the most iconic guitars and amplifiers in music history. With Composite Object Sound Modeling (COSM) technology, the VG-8 combines various “sound objects” such as guitar bodies, pickups, and amplifiers to produce a faithful reproduction of these components that can be played using any steel-stringed guitar with a Roland GK-2A pickup.
In addition to the COSM technology, the VG-8 comes equipped with a polyphonic pitch shifter that allows you to create 12-string guitars and open tunings with ease. With 128 preset patches and 64 user patches, you can quickly and easily dial in the perfect sound for any style of music.
Variable Guitar Modeling (VGM) technology gives you access to multiple sound object models, including guitars, pickups, amps, cabinets, microphones, and even mic placement, while Harmonic Restructure Modeling (HRM) allows you to create unique synth-like sounds. And with no tracking delay, the VG-8 converts the waveform produced by each string into a new sound in real-time.
