Roland JD-990 Synthesizer Module

The JD-990 is built around 195 high-quality PCM waveforms carried over from the JD-800 engine, including synth sounds, processed samples, and one-shot and looped waveforms, giving it an almost unlimited range of sound-creation possibilities through PCM filtering, ring modulation, and oscillator sync. It can be played in Performance, Patch, or Rhythm Set mode, and its built-in DSP chip drives eight onboard effects, including a three-band graphic EQ, distortion, phaser, chorus, delay, and reverb. Four stereo outputs allow sophisticated mixing with independent outboard effects per sound, and Expansion Board slots let you grow the JD-990’s sound library further with DAT A Cards or PCM Cards.
