The V-Bass is a floor processing and modeling system built for bass guitar players, using COSM technology to recreate a wide variety of bass, pickup, amp, speaker cab, mic, and effects combinations — including classic electric, acoustic, fretless, and custom user-created basses. An onboard expression pedal gives real-time parameter control for mixing and matching effects, from synth bass sounds to polyphonic effects and wild, unnamed textures. Helpful graphics and icons guide you through creating custom bass sounds, and a 1/4″ bass input jack gives direct access to amp modeling and non-polyphonic effects for players who don’t want to install a pickup. With 100 presets and 100 user patches, plus a user-installable GK-2B Divided Pickup for full COSM and polyphonic effects access, the V-Bass offers instant access to solid-state and tube amp models, speaker cabs, and bass effects including modeled wah, overdrive/distortion, compression, delay, chorus, and reverb.
