Roland XP-30 64-Voice Synthesizer
The XP-30 offers 64-voice polyphony and 16-part multitimbrality, with advanced DSP driving 40 effect types plus independent chorus and reverb units. Ten different structures for combining basic sound elements, a ring modulator, and a booster give you flexible sound-shaping options, while the arpeggiator lets you generate arpeggios and simulate cutting techniques just by pressing a chord. Two SR-JV80 series Wave Expansion Boards can be installed simultaneously, and the XP-30 comes with the data of three popular expansion boards — Orchestral, Session, and Techno Collection — already onboard, giving simultaneous access to the sounds of up to five expansion boards. Dedicated Patch Search and Phrase Preview buttons, carried over from the JV-2080, make finding and previewing sounds fast and intuitive.
