The GR-33 is a floor-based, GK-Ready synth offering an affordable entry into guitar synthesis, built on the sound engine of Roland’s JV-1080 synth module for rich, captivating instrument sounds and synth effects. It delivers 384 instrument sounds with ultra-fast triggering, dedicated Chorus and Reverb processing, and 40 multi-effects including rotary and overdrive. A synth harmonist feature adds “intelligent” harmony to a single note, an assignable expression pedal and onboard arpeggiator add performance flexibility, and an Output Select switch allows use with conventional guitar amps or power amps. A user-installable GK-2A Divided Pickup (sold separately) provides ultra-fast triggering with any steel-string guitar.
