This gives the JD-800 a rare hands-on, analog-style interface for a fully digital synth, letting you shape sound in real time as you perform. An onboard DSP handles up to eight digital effects in Single mode (including a three-band EQ, distortion, phaser, chorus, delay, and reverb) or four in Multi mode, where the JD-800 becomes a five-part multi-timbral sound source ideal for sequencing full arrangements.
